“Stimulus Money” is Drugs and Arizona needs to Kick the Habit before Addiction

August 9th, 2009

Arizona needs to face the fact former Governor Napolitano unethically enlarged Arizona State government without utilizing the proper methods.  Napolitano violated the Arizona State Constitution when she enlarged government with fraudulent accounting methods to create her pet programs—even after the voters voted some down!

She got away with it and Napolitano bankrupted our State.

Now, Arizona has been offered “Stimulus” “Bail Out” money but it comes with strings.

Like a dope dealer, the Obama Administration, dare I say Napolitano herself, has written for one-time funds specifically targeted to bail out Napolitano’s immoral and unethical enlargement of Arizona State services.

And like a drug dealer, the Federal government wants to get Arizona hooked so that our State will be forced to accept Napolitano’s philosophy and the unwanted programs Napolitano foisted off on Arizonans.

It is time

We face the facts and the truth.

Either we kick the habit now or those programs we never wanted become a full fledged addiction sucking the life blood from the honest tax payers of Arizona.

We no longer have a representative government and this can not continue much longer.

The sooner we wake up, reclaim our State’s rights and get our ship of State running the way we citizens of Arizona want it, the easier it will be and the sooner we will prosper.

Otherwise, we might as well admit it:

The State of Arizona government has a real drug problem that is costing US dearly.

To former Governor Janet Napolitano

To the Obama Administration and

To Governor Janet Brewer,

The time has come for Arizonans to take a stand and I say

Just Say No!*

Peter Breggin, MD & International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology

August 8th, 2009

Psychiatrist Peter Breggin is one of the most brilliant minds in the field of mental health:

http://www.breggin.com/

Dr. Breggin was ahead of his time and his philosophy regarding mental health & mental illness as simple as it is formed the basis from which I developed Positive Projective Psychology.  Peter’s philosophy gave the “yard stick” by which to measure mental distress and to assist my clients in getting their needs met and achieving their goals.

Clearly and dearly, I am indebted to Peter for his ability to see through the confusion “modern science” and “medicine” has foisted off on us as both “science” and “treatment.”  Were it not for Peter and his lovely wife Ginger Breggin I would not have become the psychologist* I have been nor would I have ever achieved the levels of health and satisfaction I have.

Ginger invited me to become a member of the Advisory Council for International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology.  It was not until I participated in the ICSPP listserv that I was confronted by other professionals and my education completed.  Indeed, I miss those early days on the listserv and I really appreciate those folks who reared me up on the listserv.

The challenging remarks by others more experienced and older than I really brought my thinking around.  They helped me realize the terrible bill of goods that we were forced to swallow in the name of (phony) “higher education.”  I am forever grateful and indebted to those others who corrected me in kindness.

Truly, my peers on the listserv contributed immensely to my life, professionally and personally.  And I regret not staying in touch with them and my inability to recall names and give them public credit.  However, if you are or were a member of that listserv, I would love to hear from you.  Please drop me a line.

My relationship with the International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology ended some time ago in approximately 2002.  At the time, I was overwhelmed with my own health care & insurmountable difficulties at work, and the listserv was peppered with national politics as I tried to get ICSPP back on track and focused upon the mission which united us:

Improving the practises of psychiatry & psychology

Providing a concerted challenge to the hegemony of the Medical Model and the stranglehold the Pharmaceutical Industry holds on mental health care

Focusing upon developing, finding and disseminating superior treatments in mental health

Restoring the crown of science that once belonged to Psychology

and in particular to

American Behavioral Psychology

I highly recommend the International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology and their professional journal:

Ethical Human Psychology and Psychiatry:

An International Journal of Critical Inquiry.

*I worked as a psychologist in the past but am barred from holding myself out as a psychologist and practising in the State of Arizona.

However, for the sake of accuracy be it known my

Arizona Psychologist #3339 is medically inactive.

“Science” has become “political” in the sense espoused my Mao.

Rather than at the end of a gun, we have committees we call Boards which rule as despots.

What is “Psychology?”

August 8th, 2009

Most people don’t know the differences are between “psychiatrists” and “psychologists,” and

Both of those groups are confused about their histories & their roles.

To be candid, even when I went off to graduate school, I continued to evidence my naivete regarding the two and the differences thereof.

“Ology” means “the science of.”

And very few psychologists know this but “psychology” means

“The science of the soul”

or

“The study of the soul.”*

In modern man’s quest for further separation from God, he has assumed that

The “soul” is a term best forgotten!

:-(

How ignorant & how arrogant modern man is!

What are the Differences between Psychiatrists and Psychologists?

August 8th, 2009

While there are vast differences within these categories and there are books I will review that explain their histories and origins, in a nutshell the main differences between psychiatrists and psychologists are:

Psychiatrists prescribe medicine and their main method of treatment consists of medications and secondarily grossly disabling techniques including electroshock and lobotomy.

—All medications work upon principles of disabling and toxicity—

Psychologists use methods of behavioral treatments that operate upon principles of “sensitization” and “desensitization.”

There are many modalities of “talk therapy,” none of which may be considered “toxic” or “disabling”—except when psychologists serve to uphold The Medical Model and “reify” the diagnosis thus causing “iatrogenesis.”

Psychologists earn “real” doctoral degrees and are true scientists trained in the scientific method.  In comparison psychiatrists earn “technical degrees” and are mere technicians.

Psychiatrists are “medical doctors” and are trained in understanding the risks and benefits of medications.  The “medical doctor” or “MD” degree has existed for less than a century.

Psychologists are the original “doctors” and have “doctor of philosophy” degrees.  The “Ph.D.” has four centuries of heritage.

“Iatrogenesis” is “physician caused illness” and is not limited to the practices of either psychiatrists or psychologists.

Arpaio and Thomas Fail to Enforce Child Exploitation Laws!

August 8th, 2009

First, I voted for “the dynamic duo” and I would again, but this particular hypocrisy needs to be pointed out:

Neither Sheriff Joe nor Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas are enforcing the laws against child exploitation!

Whenever children are used politically those children are being exploited!

We need to reestablish proper adult-child boundaries in our country.  Children have no business being exposed to adult issues and adult politics.  Children can not comprehend the enormity of the issues in front of them and hence need to be protected from such exploitation by adults.

It results in children being prematurely

“Parentalized!”

The next time children are being marched in the heat or out of the heat in a manner that exploits them making them political pawns, those adults herding those children in such an exploitative manner need to be arrested and those children taken into State custody!

Second, my nick names for the dynamic duo are “Batman” and “Robin.”

I’ll let you guess which one is “Batman” and which one is “Robin.” 😉

Obama to Allow Searching of All Computers and Media Devices to Imprisson Copyright Violators

August 7th, 2009

Obama passing new law to allow searching of PC's, Laptops, and media devices

Just like Obama's ongoing attempt to take away our gun rights and share our "gun registration lists" with other countries through the back door adoption of international treaties, Obama wants to do the same with YOUR ipod and YOUR lap top!

Would this be in violation of our Fourth Amendment Right from the US Constitution Bill of Rights to protect US from unreasonable search and seizure?
